This homestyle ghee by Taaza (by Ayurveg) is made with love, care, and traditional desi and artisanal techniques.

Crafted with care in small batches, made from 100% fresh clarified butter from grass-fed cows raised humanely on family farms. This homestyle ghee has a rich, creamy flavor that will add exceptional buttery flavor to your popcorn.

Use this ghee for both popping and topping your popcorn. Ghee's extremely high smoke point is the result of clarifying the butter to remove the milk-solids that burn at high temperatures. Without these milk solids, ghee can be heated to 465º F compared to butter’s 350º F before smoking & burning. Popcorn pops best between 400º F-460º F, making this a perfect popping medium.

Ghee is appropriate for people eating keto, whole30, and lactose-free.

Use it Well

Use this for either popping or topping your popcorn.

To use as a popping oil: spoon ghee into your pan, enough to be able to coat all kernels. Heat it up, once hot enough, pour in your kernels & pop! Check out our Popping Guide for a full ”how to pop” overview.

To use as a finisher: Melt ghee (as much as you want!) and pour over popped kernels to add a whole lot of buttery flavor.
